Klosterlaks supplies the Norwegian national football team

Rune Eide and Kloster Laks have signed a partnership agreement with the Football Association of Norway. This means that Kloster Laks was on the plane when the Norwegian national football team travelled to the USA.

Rune Eide has entered into a partnership agreement with NFF, which means that Erling Braut Haaland and the rest of the Norwegian men's national football team can be served Kloster Laks when they wake up at the luxurious Grandover Resort and Spa in Greensboro, North Carolina, where the team will be staying throughout the World Cup.

– It's pretty cool that we get salmon from Halsnøy to our World Cup stars, says Eide.

He has supplied Kloster Laks to the national team earlier in the season as well – mainly for their home matches during the World Cup qualifiers.

– They have been very pleased with it. So when it became clear that we were going to the World Cup, I contacted the chefs to ask whether they wanted to bring Norwegian food over to the USA, says Eide.

In addition to fuelling the national team through the World Cup qualifiers, Eide has also previously supplied salmon to Manchester City and Haaland. The Norwegian star striker was so pleased with the salmon that he spontaneously posted a photo praising Kloster Laks to his millions of followers on Snapchat.

Klosterlaks is available for purchase at Spar Sæbøvik – Halsnøy.
